Rules

 

  • Only registered users can nominate/vote.
  • Registered users will need to populate their legal First & Last Name in their profile information in order for their votes to be valid.
  • Nominations are for poker players that live in Minnesota the entire year.
  • Nominees must have full legal name in order to be considered. They will be added to the "Potential Nominees" list during Nomination Period but if full name isn’t provided by end of nomination period they will automatically be removed.
  • Goal is to have 5-10 names in each category.
  • ALL categories & potential nominees will be reviewed by the MN Poker Awards Committee to determine which 5-10 nominees will be on the official voting ballot.
  • Registered users can only vote for one person per category.
  • Once a vote is submitted it cannot be changed.
  • If a nominee is found to have multiple accounts, they will be automatically disqualified and any votes they submit will be invalid. Disqualification will be for current year and all future years.
  • If a user tries to vote multiple times by using fake emails/automated robots they will be automatically disqualified as well as any votes they made.
  • If a user sends any rude or obscene messages about the awards/nominess either via comments or any social media platform they will automatically be disqualified and any votes made by them will be invalid. Disqualification will be for current year and all future years.
  • No bribing or coarsing of committe members is allowed. Any one found to do this will be disqualified and unable to vote.
